The metal rotor flowmeter serves as an advanced and versatile variable area flow measuring instrument, ingeniously designed to gauge the precise position of the float.

Showcasing a robust all-metal construction and a sophisticated modular design concept, this flowmeter stands out with its compact size, minimal pressure drop, impressive range ratio of 10:1,
and effortless installation and maintenance, making it an ideal choice across diverse industries, even in the most challenging and demanding environmental conditions.
Perfectly suited for effective flow and process control of small-scale flow rates, low speeds, and various stringent medium requirements, this flowmeter excels in performance.

Ensuring the optimal functionality of the metal rotor flowmeter hinges on its correct installation. Key installation guidelines include:

(1) The flowmeter must be installed in a vertical position, allowing the fluid under measurement to pass seamlessly from the bottom upwards. Ensure a straight pipe section equivalent to five times the instrument's diameter is present both at the inlet and outlet. Newly constructed pipelines must be thoroughly flushed clean before the flowmeter's installation.

(2) Position a valve upstream of the flowmeter and a flow control valve 5 to 10 times the instrument diameter downstream. For smaller diameter instruments, incorporate a filter upstream. Install a magnetic filter prior to the flowmeter if the medium contains magnetic materials.

(3) To facilitate ease of maintenance and the straightforward replacement of the flowmeter, integrate a bypass pipeline during installation.

(4) If the medium measured is notably dirty, ensure timely cleaning of the pipes and float to maintain optimal performance.

(5) Typically, the metal rotor flowmeter offers a measurement precision level of 1.5. For applications demanding higher accuracy, consider alternative flowmeter options as this type may not be the optimal choice.
