PACKING & SHIPPING
We are committed to delivering your ordered product at the earliest date as per your requirements, ensuring timely and efficient service. The installation of the electromagnetic flowmeter varies depending on the site pipeline conditions. For installations that do not require a ball valve, the flowmeter should be installed on a non-pressurized pipeline. This allows for selecting flowmeters without a ball valve, ensuring a streamlined setup.
Begin by creating a hole with a diameter of 50 in the pipeline, then prepare to weld a connecting pipe to this opening. This step is crucial for securing the flowmeter in place.
In scenarios demanding continuous flow during operations or where media overflow must be avoided, incorporating a ball valve becomes essential. This situation necessitates the choice of an insertion-type electromagnetic flowmeter equipped with a ball valve structure.
Create a hole with a diameter of 50 in the pipeline, and prepare to weld a connecting pipe to the opening. This ensures a secure attachment for the flowmeter.

For optimal performance, the upstream straight pipe section should be 5D, and the downstream section should be 3D. This configuration guarantees proper usage and meets accuracy standards for the electromagnetic flowmeter.
The electromagnetic flowmeter's measurement principle is independent of the flow characteristics, allowing for versatile applications.
Should turbulence and vortices occur in the non-measurement areas of the pipeline, generated by elements such as elbows, tangential throttling, or partially open shut-off valves upstream, the measurement accuracy remains unaffected.
However, steady-state vortices within the measurement area can compromise the stability and precision of the readings.
In such cases, implementing measures to stabilize the flow distribution is necessary:
1.2. Pipeline-type Electromagnetic Flowmeter
2.1. Requirements for Straight Sections To minimize the effects of vortices and flow field distortion, specific lengths for the upstream and downstream straight pipe sections are required. Failure to meet these standards can affect measurement accuracy. Installing a straightener is advisable, and it's best to avoid placing the flowmeter near control or partially open valves.
2.2. Requirements for Process Pipes The installation point's upstream and downstream process pipes must meet specific criteria to ensure measurement accuracy. a. The inner diameter of these pipes should match the sensor's inner diameter, satisfying the condition: 0.98DN ≤ D ≤ 1.05DN (DN represents the sensor's inner diameter, and D the process pipe's inner diameter). b. The process pipe and the sensor must be concentric, with an axial deviation not exceeding 0.05DN.
2.3. Requirements for Bypass Pipes To ensure seamless and efficient maintenance of the flowmeter, installing a bypass pipe is highly recommended. For scenarios involving heavily contaminated fluids or when there is a need to clean the flowmeter without halting the fluid flow, the installation of a bypass pipe is essential. a. Facilitates easy maintenance of the flowmeter. b. Essential for managing heavily contaminated fluids. c. Allows for cleaning the flowmeter without stopping fluid flow.
3. Installation Requirements for Insertion-Type Electromagnetic Flowmeters
3.1. Straight Pipe Section Requirements Ensure optimal performance by adhering to the recommended lengths for straight pipe sections. The inlet section should be at least 10 times the diameter (10×DN) of the pipe, while the outlet section should be at least 5 times the diameter (5×DN).
3.2. Grounding Point Requirements To guarantee reliable operation and enhance measurement accuracy, the flowmeter must be grounded effectively to avoid the influence of external parasitic potentials. The sensor should have excellent grounding, with a grounding resistance of less than 10 ohms. (If the metal pipeline is already well grounded, a dedicated grounding device is unnecessary.)
3.3. Installation Position Ensure the correct installation position as illustrated in the accompanying diagram.
