Installation:

The robust metal rotor flowmeter is a sophisticated variable area flow measurement instrument, expertly engineered to determine the float position with precision.

This advanced device boasts an all-metal construction paired with a cutting-edge modular design, offering unparalleled advantages such as compact dimensions, minimal pressure drop, and an impressive range ratio of 10:1.
Its effortless installation and maintenance make it an indispensable choice across diverse industries, particularly in challenging and harsh environments.
Masterfully designed for flow and process control, it excels in managing small flow rates, low velocities, and accommodates a wide array of demanding medium conditions.

Proper installation of the metal rotor flowmeter is crucial to ensuring its optimal performance. Key installation considerations include:

(1) Ensure vertical installation of the flowmeter, directing the fluid flow from bottom to top. Maintain straight pipe sections five times the instrument diameter at both entry and exit points. New pipelines should undergo thorough flushing before flowmeter installation.

(2) Position a valve upstream of the flowmeter, and secure a flow control valve 5 to 10 times the instrument diameter downstream. For smaller diameter instruments, install a filter upstream. If magnetic materials are present in the medium, integrate a magnetic filter prior to the flowmeter.

(3) Incorporate a bypass pipeline during installation to facilitate easy maintenance and replacement of the flowmeter.

(4) In cases where the medium is contaminated, ensure regular cleaning of the pipes and float to maintain efficiency.

(5) The metal rotor flowmeter typically offers a measurement accuracy level of 1.5. For applications requiring higher precision, consider alternative flowmeter solutions beyond metal tube rotor types.
