When in use, the flowmeter must be installed in a vertical section of the pipe, with the fluid medium flowing from the bottom to the top through the rotor flowmeter.

Installation:

The metal rotor flowmeter is an advanced variable area flow measuring instrument that precisely determines flow by assessing the float's position.

Designed with an all-metal structure and a smart modular design, it boasts compact dimensions, minimal pressure loss, and an impressive range ratio of 10:1.
Its straightforward installation and maintenance make it the preferred choice across various industries, even in the most challenging and demanding environments.
Perfect for controlling flow and processes of small rates, low velocities, and in complex medium conditions, it thrives in difficult situations.

Ensuring the metal rotor flowmeter is installed correctly is crucial to its optimal performance. Essential installation considerations include:

(1) The flowmeter must be set up in a vertical position, with fluid entering from below and moving upward. Ensure there is a straight pipe section five times the instrument's diameter at both entry and exit points. Before installing, thoroughly flush newly laid pipelines.

(2) Install a valve before the flowmeter, and place a flow control valve between 5 to 10 times the diameter of the instrument afterwards. For smaller diameters, use a filter upstream, and install a magnetic filter if the medium has magnetic materials.

(3) For easy maintenance and flowmeter replacement, integrate a bypass pipeline during installation.

(4) If the medium is particularly dirty, promptly clean both pipes and float to maintain efficiency.

(5) While the metal rotor flowmeter typically achieves a measurement accuracy of 1.5, select a different model if higher precision is necessary.
