The metal rotor flowmeter is among the most versatile and commonly utilized flowmeters in both industrial and laboratory settings. It features a straightforward structure, user-friendly operation, minimal pressure loss, and effortless maintenance. The rotor flowmeter is ideal for accurately measuring small flow rates in pipes with a diameter of D.< 150 mm, and it can also measure the flow of corrosive media. When in use, the flowmeter must be installed in a vertical section of the pipe, with the fluid medium flowing from the bottom to the top through the rotor flowmeter.

Installation:

The metal rotor flowmeter is an advanced variable area flow measuring instrument that provides accurate readings by determining the precise position of the float.

With an innovative all-metal structure and a smart modular design, this device stands out due to its compact size, minimal pressure loss, impressive range ratio (10:1),
and straightforward installation and maintenance, making it an ideal choice for use across diverse industries, even in the most challenging and harsh environments.
It excels in flow and process control for small flow rates, low velocities, and various demanding medium conditions, ensuring reliable performance under stringent requirements.

Ensuring the proper installation of the metal rotor flowmeter is crucial for its optimal operation. Key installation considerations include:

(1) Always install the flowmeter vertically, with the fluid flowing from bottom to top. Ensure there is a straight pipe section measuring five times the instrument's diameter at both the inlet and outlet. For new pipelines, thoroughly flush them before installing the flowmeter to prevent any obstructions.

(2) Place a valve upstream of the flowmeter, and install a flow control valve 5 to 10 times the instrument diameter downstream. For instruments with smaller diameters, incorporate a filter upstream. If the medium contains magnetic materials, add a magnetic filter before the flowmeter.

(3) To simplify maintenance and facilitate easy replacement, connect a bypass pipeline during the installation process.

(4) In cases where the medium is particularly dirty, ensure timely cleaning of the pipes and float to maintain accuracy and functionality.

(5) Typically, the metal rotor flowmeter offers a measurement accuracy level of 1.5. For applications requiring higher precision, consider alternative flowmeter options instead of the metal tube rotor model.
