Installation Requirements

Piping Condition
The proper installation of our Anti Vibration High Accuracy Flowmeter requires a specific length of straight pipe sections both upstream and downstream. The following guidelines outline common scenarios (D represents the pipe diameter):

1.
Ensure the sensor is mounted on a horizontal, vertical, or inclined pipe (with upward liquid flow), matching the sensor's diameter. It should be preceded by 15-20D and followed by 5-10D length of straight pipe.
2.
The pipeline near the liquid sensor must be completely filled with the liquid under measurement.
3.
Avoid installing the sensor on pipes experiencing strong mechanical vibrations to ensure optimal performance.
4.
Maintain consistency in the inner diameter of the straight pipe section with the sensor diameter. If not possible, use a slightly larger pipe with an error of ≤3% and not more than 5mm. Avoid areas with strong electromagnetic interference, cramped spaces, or where maintenance is challenging..
5.
Horizontal pipeline installation is preferred for flow sensors. For gas flows with minor liquid content, position the sensor at a higher pipeline point. For liquid flows with minor gas content, position it at a lower point.
6.
For vertical pipeline installations, the sensor can be fitted without flow direction restrictions when measuring gas. If gas contains liquid, ensure gas flows from bottom to top. For liquid measurement, ensure liquid flows from bottom to top to mitigate probe weight.
7.
Side-mounting on horizontal pipelines is viable for all fluids, particularly superheated steam, saturated steam, and low-temperature liquids. Side installation minimizes temperature effects on the amplifier.
8.
Inverted horizontal pipeline mounting is not generally recommended. It is unsuitable for general gases or superheated steam but may be used for saturated steam or high-temperature liquids, especially where frequent pipeline cleaning is necessary.
9.
For pipelines with insulation layers, while measuring high-temperature steam, ensure the insulation does not exceed one-third of the bracket height.
10.
For accurate pressure and temperature measurements near the sensor, place the pressure measurement point 3-5D downstream and the temperature measurement point 6-8D downstream.
