The metal rotor flowmeter stands as a quintessential tool in both industry and laboratories. It is celebrated for its straightforward structure, intuitive operation, minimal pressure loss, and easy maintenance. The rotor flowmeter is especially well-suited for measuring small flow rates in pipelines with a diameter of D.< 150 mm, and it can also measure the flow of corrosive media. When in use, the flowmeter must be installed in a vertical section of the pipe, with the fluid medium flowing from the bottom to the top through the rotor flowmeter.

Installation:

Introducing the metal rotor flowmeter, an advanced variable area flow measuring instrument crafted for precision through the float position measurement technique.

This device boasts an all-metal construction and adheres to a modular design ethos. Its compact size, minimal pressure loss, and impressive range ratio of 10:1,
coupled with straightforward installation and maintenance, make it an essential tool across numerous industries, especially in challenging and demanding environments.
A vital component for ensuring precise flow and process control, particularly for small flow rates, low velocities, and various specialized medium conditions.

Correct installation of the metal rotor flowmeter is crucial for optimal performance. Key installation guidelines to follow include:

(1) Ensure a vertical installation of the flowmeter, allowing the fluid to flow from the bottom upwards. Maintain a straight pipe length five times the instrument's diameter at both inlet and outlet. Newly installed pipelines require thorough flushing prior to fitting the flowmeter.

(2) Position a valve upstream, with a flow control valve 5 to 10 times the instrument's diameter downstream. For small diameter systems, incorporate a filter upstream. When dealing with magnetic mediums, a magnetic filter must precede the flowmeter.

(3) To simplify maintenance and replacement, integrate a bypass pipeline during installation.

(4) For mediums with high impurity levels, timely cleaning of both pipes and float is necessary.

(5) With a standard measurement accuracy level of 1.5, the metal rotor flowmeter is suitable for most applications. However, if enhanced accuracy is paramount, consider alternative flowmeter options.
