The metal rotor flowmeter is a staple in both industrial and laboratory settings, renowned for its simplistic design, intuitive operation, minimal pressure loss, and convenient maintenance. Ideal for measuring small flow rates in pipes with a diameter of D.< 150 mm, and it can also measure the flow of corrosive media. When in use, the flowmeter must be installed in a vertical section of the pipe, with the fluid medium flowing from the bottom to the top through the rotor flowmeter.

Perfect for managing flow and process control of low flow rates and velocities, this flowmeter excels in handling various demanding medium conditions with finesse.

Ensuring the proper installation of our metal rotor flowmeter is vital to guarantee optimal performance and reliability in operation. Key installation considerations include:

(1) Ensure vertical installation, with the fluid flowing from bottom to top. Maintain a straight pipe section five times the instrument diameter at both inlet and outlet. For new pipelines, a thorough flush is recommended before flowmeter installation.

(2) Strategically place a valve upstream of the flowmeter and a flow control valve 5 to 10 times the instrument diameter downstream. For smaller diameters, use a filter upstream. If magnetic materials are present in the medium, install a magnetic filter before the flowmeter.

(3) To streamline maintenance or replacement, integrate a bypass pipeline when installing the instrument.

(4) For mediums with higher impurity levels, ensure regular cleaning of both pipes and float to maintain efficiency.

(5) The metal rotor flowmeter typically achieves a measurement accuracy of 1.5. For applications demanding higher precision, consider alternative measurement solutions beyond the metal tube rotor flowmeter.
