In the event of a fault, it enters an alert mode, outputting an alert current (3.6mA or 22.8mA) and providing control signals for system interlock and SIS safety systems. This smart transmitter automatically displays an error (Err) on the LCD when a fault is detected, pinpointing the faulty unit for easier maintenance, repair, and replacement.
