At Shandong Zhongziyi Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd., we are dedicated to ensuring that your ANSI Electromagnetic Flowmeter with High Accuracy and Good Repeatability reaches you promptly and efficiently. Our commitment is to deliver your order as per your requirements, providing timely and seamless service. The installation of the ANSI Electromagnetic Flowmeter with High Accuracy and Good Repeatability by Shandong Zhongziyi Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. varies based on pipeline conditions. Flowmeters without a ball valve should be installed on non-pressurized pipelines, ensuring a seamless installation since non-pressurized conditions allow for the selection of such flowmeters.
Create a hole with a diameter of 50 mm in the pipeline, and prepare to weld a connecting pipe to this opening. This ensures a secure and precise connection for the flowmeter.
In scenarios demanding continuous flow during operations or where media overflow is unacceptable, a ball valve is essential. This necessitates choosing an insertion-type electromagnetic flowmeter equipped with a ball valve structure for optimal functionality.
Similarly, a 50 mm diameter hole should be made in the pipeline, with preparations to weld a connecting pipe to the pipeline's opening, ensuring robust and reliable installation.

The straight pipe section requirements are 5D upstream and 3D downstream. This configuration guarantees the proper operation of the electromagnetic flowmeter and ensures measurement accuracy.
The measurement principle of the electromagnetic flowmeter is independent of the characteristics of the flow, providing consistent and reliable readings.
Even if turbulence and vortices occur in non-measurement areas (such as around elbows, tangential throttling, or partially open shut-off valves upstream), they will not impact the flowmeter's measurement accuracy.
However, steady-state vortices in the measurement area can compromise stability and accuracy. Mitigating these is crucial for optimal performance.
To address this, the following measures should be implemented to stabilize flow distribution:
1.2. Pipeline-type Electromagnetic Flowmeter
2.1. Requirements for Straight Sections To reduce vortices and flow field distortion, ensure straight pipe sections upstream and downstream of the flowmeter meet specific length requirements. This is crucial for maintaining measurement accuracy, and installing a straightener is advisable. Avoid placing the flowmeter close to control or partially open valves.
2.2. Requirements for Process Pipes The ANSI Electromagnetic Flowmeter has stringent requirements for upstream and downstream process pipes. The inner diameter of these pipes must match the sensor's diameter (0.98DN ≤ D ≤ 1.05DN, where DN is the sensor's inner diameter, and D is the process pipe's inner diameter). Additionally, the process pipe and sensor must be concentric, with an axial deviation not exceeding 0.05DN.
2.3. Requirements for Bypass Pipes To ensure seamless maintenance of the flowmeter, it is highly recommended to install a bypass pipe. This is especially crucial for scenarios involving heavily contaminated fluids and situations where cleaning the flowmeter without halting fluid flow is essential. a. Facilitates the maintenance of the flowmeter effortlessly. b. Mandatory installation for handling heavily contaminated fluids. c. Enables cleaning of the flowmeter without interrupting fluid flow.
3. Installation Requirements for Insertion-Type Electromagnetic Flowmeters
3.1. Requirements for Straight Pipe Sections Inlet/Outlet Straight Pipe Sections: For optimal performance, the inlet section should be at least 10 times the diameter of the pipe (≥ 10×DN), and the outlet section should be at least 5 times the diameter of the pipe (≥ 5×DN).
3.2. Requirements for Grounding Points To ensure the reliable operation of the instrument and enhance measurement precision, the sensor should be well-grounded. This minimizes the influence of external parasitic potentials. The grounding resistance should be less than 10 ohms. (If the metal pipeline is already well-grounded, a dedicated grounding device may not be necessary.)
3.3. Requirements for Installation Position As Illustrated in the Diagram.
