Installation:

The metal rotor flowmeter is a sophisticated variable area flow measuring instrument, which precisely gauges the position of the float to determine flow rates.

Crafted with an all-metal structure and envisioned with a modular design concept, its compact size ensures minimal pressure loss and boasts an impressive range ratio of 10:1.
Thanks to its straightforward installation and ease of maintenance, it finds extensive application across a myriad of industries, even under the most challenging and harsh environmental conditions.
It excels in managing the flow and process control for small flow rates and low velocities, adeptly handling a variety of demanding medium conditions.

Ensuring the proper installation of the metal rotor flowmeter is paramount for its optimal functionality and performance. Essential installation considerations include:

(1) The flowmeter should be installed in a vertical position, allowing the measured fluid to ascend from bottom to top. It requires a straight pipe section of five times the instrument diameter at both the inlet and outlet. Before installation, newly laid pipelines should be thoroughly flushed to ensure cleanliness.

(2) Install a valve upstream of the flowmeter and position a flow control valve 5 to 10 times the instrument's diameter downstream. For instruments with small diameters, incorporate a filter upstream. Should the medium contain magnetic materials, a magnetic filter must be placed before the flowmeter.

(3) To ensure ease of maintenance and seamless replacement, include a bypass pipeline when installing the instrument.

(4) For mediums that are prone to dirt accumulation, timely cleaning of both pipes and float is essential to maintain efficient operation.

(5) The measurement accuracy of the metal rotor flowmeter generally stands at a level of 1.5. For applications requiring superior measurement precision, opting for a metal tube rotor flowmeter may not be advisable.
