The metal rotor flowmeter ranks among the most trusted flowmeters in industry and laboratories. Its simple construction, intuitive operation, minimal pressure loss, and easy maintenance make it ideal for measuring small flow rates in pipes of diameter D.< 150 mm, and it can also measure the flow of corrosive media. When in use, the flowmeter must be installed in a vertical section of the pipe, with the fluid medium flowing from the bottom to the top through the rotor flowmeter.

Installation:

The metal rotor flowmeter stands as an exceptional variable area flow measuring instrument, meticulously engineered to gauge the precise position of the float.

Crafted with an all-metal structure and embodying a visionary modular design concept, its compact nature ensures minimal pressure loss and delivers a substantial range ratio of 10:1.
Renowned for its effortless installation and maintenance, it finds its prowess across a myriad of industries, excelling under the most challenging and demanding environments.
Ideal for controlling low flow rates and velocities, it thrives in managing the intricate conditions required by various demanding mediums.

Ensuring the proper installation of the metal rotor flowmeter is pivotal for seamless operational performance. Considerations during installation include:

(1) The flowmeter must be positioned vertically, directing the fluid flow from the base upwards through the assembly. A straight pipe section, quintuple the instrument's diameter, is essential at both inlet and outlet points. It is crucial to thoroughly flush new pipelines prior to installation.

(2) Install a valve upstream of the flowmeter, and a flow control valve within 5 to 10 times the instrument diameter downstream. For smaller diameters, position a filter upstream. If magnetic materials are present in the medium, a magnetic filter should be placed before the flowmeter.

(3) To facilitate effortless maintenance and convenient replacement, integrate a bypass pipeline during the instrument installation.

(4) If dealing with a medium prone to contamination, ensure timely cleaning of both pipes and float to maintain efficiency.

(5) The metal rotor flowmeter typically delivers measurement accuracy at a level of 1.5. For requirements demanding higher precision, alternative measurement solutions should be considered, as the metal tube rotor flowmeter may not suffice.
