A hole with a diameter of 50 mm should be created in the pipeline, and preparations should be made to weld a connecting pipe to this opening. Such meticulous preparation ensures robust connectivity and seamless functionality.

2.2. Requirements for the process pipes The flowmeter has strict requirements for the upstream and downstream process pipes at the installation site to ensure measurement accuracy. a. The inner diameter of the upstream and downstream process pipes should match the sensor's diameter, adhering to 0.98DN ≤ D ≤ 1.05DN (where DN is the sensor's inner diameter, and D is the process pipe's inner diameter). b. Ensure the process pipe and sensor are concentric, with an axial deviation not exceeding 0.05DN for precise measurements.

2.3. Requirements for Bypass Pipes Installing a bypass pipe is crucial for the maintenance and optimal performance of your flowmeter. Here's why: a. It facilitates hassle-free maintenance of the flowmeter, ensuring continuous operation. b. For heavily contaminated fluids, a bypass pipe is essential to maintain flow integrity. c. When the flowmeter requires cleaning, a bypass pipe allows the fluid to continue flowing uninterrupted.

3. Installation Requirements for Insertion-Type Electromagnetic Flowmeters Ensure your electromagnetic flowmeter is installed correctly to achieve peak performance and reliability.
