Piping condition
The installation of the Gas Vortex Flowmeter with Anti Vibration and High Accuracy Features by Shandong Zhongziyi Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. requires a precise straight pipe section before and after the flowmeter. The standard configurations are as follows (D represents the pipe diameter):

Install the sensor on a horizontal, vertical, or inclined pipe (with liquid flowing from bottom to top) that matches the sensor's diameter. Ensure there is a straight pipe section of 15-20D upstream and 5-10D downstream of the sensor.

Make sure the pipe near the liquid sensor is filled with the liquid being measured.

Avoid installing the sensor on pipes experiencing strong mechanical vibrations.

The inner diameter of the straight pipe should closely match the sensor diameter. If they differ, use a slightly larger diameter pipe with an error margin of ≤3% and not more than 5mm. Avoid installing the sensor in areas with strong electromagnetic interference, cramped spaces, or where maintenance is difficult..

Horizontal pipeline installation is the most common for flow sensors. For gas flows containing small amounts of liquid, install the sensor at a higher point. For liquid flows containing small amounts of gas, install the sensor at a lower point in the pipeline.
6.
Vertical pipeline installation: For gas flow, install the sensor without flow direction restrictions. If the gas contains liquid, ensure the flow is from bottom to top. For liquid flow, ensure the flow is from bottom to top to prevent extra weight on the probe.
7.
Side installation on horizontal pipelines is suitable for all fluids, particularly superheated steam, saturated steam, and low-temperature liquids. Side mounting is preferred when possible to minimize thermal effects on the amplifier.
8.
Inverted sensor installation on horizontal pipelines is generally discouraged. It is unsuitable for general gases or superheated steam but can be used for saturated steam and high-temperature liquids, or when pipes require frequent cleaning.
9.
For pipelines with insulation layers measuring high-temperature steam, the insulation should cover no more than one-third of the bracket height.
10.
When pressure and temperature measurements are required near the sensor, place the pressure measurement point 3-5D downstream and the temperature measurement point 6-8D downstream.
