Installation:

The metal rotor flowmeter is an innovative variable area flow measuring instrument, ingeniously designed to gauge the precise position of the float.

It boasts a robust all-metal structure and a versatile modular design concept. Thanks to its compact size, minimal pressure loss, and substantial range ratio (10:1),
along with the simplicity of installation and maintenance, it finds extensive application across numerous industries, even in the most challenging and severe environments.
Purpose-built for flow and process control of minor flow rates, slow velocities, and a myriad of exacting medium conditions.

Achieving optimal performance of the metal rotor flowmeter hinges on its correct installation. Key installation considerations include:

(1) Ensure vertical installation of the flowmeter, with the fluid being assessed moving upward through the device. Maintain a straight pipe section at least five times the instrument's diameter both at the inlet and outlet. For new pipeline setups, conduct a thorough flush prior to flowmeter installation.

(2) Install a valve upstream of the flowmeter, and situate a flow control valve 5 to 10 times the instrument diameter downstream. For smaller diameter devices, a filter should be positioned upstream. If the medium being measured contains magnetic particles, a magnetic filter is recommended before the flowmeter.

(3) To streamline maintenance and enable smooth replacement of the flowmeter, include a bypass pipeline during the instrument's installation.

(4) For media containing high levels of impurities, regular cleaning of the pipes and float is essential.

(5) The metal rotor flowmeter typically offers measurement accuracy at a 1.5 level. For applications demanding higher precision, alternative measurement solutions should be considered.
