Flowmeters without a ball valve should be installed on non-pressurized pipelines, allowing for the selection of flowmeters without a ball valve.
Create a hole with a diameter of 50mm in the pipeline, and prepare to weld a connecting pipe to the opening in the pipeline.
For scenarios requiring continuous flow during loading and unloading or where media overflow is not permitted, a ball valve must be included. This necessitates the selection of an insertion-type electromagnetic flowmeter with a ball valve structure.

The measurement principle of the electromagnetic flowmeter does not rely on the flow characteristics, making it versatile and efficient.
If turbulence and vortices are generated in the non-measurement area of the pipeline (such as elbows, tangential throttling, or a partially open shut-off valve upstream), it will not affect the measurement.
However, steady-state vortices in the measurement area will impact the stability and accuracy of the measurements.
In such cases, measures must be taken to stabilize the flow distribution:
1.2. Pipeline-type Electromagnetic Flowmeter
2.1. Requirements for Straight Sections To mitigate the effects of vortices and flow field distortion, specific requirements for the lengths of the straight pipe sections upstream and downstream of the flowmeter must be met; otherwise, measurement accuracy will be compromised (a straightener can also be installed, and it is advisable to avoid installation close to control valves and partially open valves).
2.2. Requirements for the Process Pipes The flowmeter has specific requirements for the upstream and downstream process pipes at the installation point to ensure accurate measurements. a. The inner diameter of the upstream and downstream process pipes should match that of the sensor and meet the condition: 0.98DN ≤ D ≤ 1.05DN (where DN is the sensor's inner diameter, and D is the process pipe's inner diameter). b. The process pipe and the sensor must be concentric, with an axial deviation not exceeding 0.05DN.
2.3. Requirements for Bypass Pipes: For seamless maintenance of the High Precision Electromagnetic Flowmeter, installing a bypass pipe is highly recommended. This is particularly crucial for fluids with heavy contamination and scenarios requiring cleaning without interrupting the fluid flow. a. Facilitate maintenance of the flowmeter. b. Mandatory for highly contaminated fluids. c. Allows cleaning without halting fluid flow.
3. Installation Requirements for Insertion-Type Electromagnetic Flowmeters: Ensure seamless installation and optimal performance of our flowmeters with these essential guidelines.
3.1. Requirements for Straight Pipe Sections: To ensure precise measurements, the flowmeter must be installed with the following straight pipe sections: Inlet should be ≥ 10×DN; Outlet should be ≥ 5×DN.
3.2. Requirements for Grounding Points: For reliable operation and enhanced measurement accuracy of the High Precision Electromagnetic Flowmeter, proper grounding is essential. The sensor must be grounded with a resistance of less than 10 ohms. (If the metal pipeline is already well-grounded, a dedicated grounding device is not necessary.)
