This high-precision, reliable flow meter has undergone continuous enhancement and now stands as a national leader in excitation, lining, and intelligent technologies. It rigorously complies with industry standards such as JB/T9248-2015 and JJG 1033-2007, ensuring top-tier performance and reliability.

Installation Instructions
 

The installation of the electromagnetic flowmeter is contingent on the specific site pipeline conditions. For installations where a ball valve isn't included, ensure it's on a non-pressurized pipeline. This flexibility allows for choosing flowmeters without a ball valve.
A precise 50mm diameter hole should be drilled into the pipeline, followed by welding a connecting pipe to this opening, ensuring a secure fit.
In scenarios necessitating continuous flow during loading and unloading, or where media overflow is unacceptable, incorporating a ball valve is essential. This means selecting an insertion-type electromagnetic flowmeter equipped with a ball valve structure.
Again, a 50mm diameter hole needs to be drilled into the pipeline, and preparations made for welding a connecting pipe to the opening, ensuring robustness.

For optimal performance, the straight pipe sections should adhere to the requirements: 5D upstream and 3D downstream. This configuration guarantees the precise functionality of the electromagnetic flowmeter and meets stringent accuracy standards.

The innovative measurement principle of the electromagnetic flowmeter remains unaffected by the flow characteristics, ensuring reliable readings.
Even if turbulence and vortices occur outside the measurement area (caused by elements like elbows, tangential throttling, or a partially open shut-off valve upstream), the measurement remains unaffected.

However, if steady-state vortices occur within the measurement area, it compromises both the stability and accuracy of the readings.
In such cases, the following measures should be employed to stabilize the flow and ensure accurate measurements:

  1. Increase the length of the upstream and downstream straight pipe sections.
  2. Implement a flow stabilizer.
  3. Reduce the cross-section at the measurement point.
  1. Requirements for the External Environment
    1. The flowmeter should steer clear of areas with significant temperature variations or high-temperature radiation. If unavoidable, ensure proper insulation and ventilation.
    2. For optimal performance, install the flowmeter indoors. If outdoor installation is necessary, protect it from rain, flooding, and direct sunlight using moisture-proof and sun-proof measures.
    3. Avoid installing the flowmeter in environments with corrosive gases. If installation in such areas is necessary, ensure adequate ventilation.
    4. Provide ample space around the flowmeter for hassle-free installation, maintenance, and upkeep.
    5. Select an installation site free from magnetic fields and strong vibrations. If pipeline vibrations are significant, add supports on both sides to stabilize the setup.

1.2. Pipeline-type Electromagnetic Flowmeter

2.1. Straight Sections Requirements To counter vortices and flow field distortions, adhere to specified lengths of upstream and downstream straight pipe sections. This ensures measurement accuracy, and installing a flow straightener is also advisable. Avoid installation near control valves and partially open valves.

2.2. Process Pipes Requirements The flowmeter requires specific conditions for upstream and downstream process pipes at the installation point. The inner diameter of these pipes should match that of the sensor and meet the condition: 0.98DN ≤ D ≤ 1.05DN (DN = sensor's inner diameter, D = process pipe's inner diameter). The process pipe and sensor must be concentric, with an axial deviation ≤ 0.05DN.

2.3. Requirements for Bypass Pipes To streamline the maintenance of the flowmeter, it is highly recommended to install a bypass pipe alongside the flowmeter. This is particularly essential for situations involving heavily contaminated fluids or when the flowmeter requires cleaning without halting the fluid flow. Key guidelines include: a. Ensuring the maintenance of the flowmeter is efficient and hassle-free. b. Compulsory installation for systems with heavily contaminated fluids. c. Facilitating flowmeter cleaning without stopping the ongoing fluid flow.

3. Installation Requirements for Insertion-Type Electromagnetic Flowmeters

3.1. Requirements for Straight Pipe Sections Inlet/Outlet Straight Pipe Sections: To ensure optimal performance, the inlet should have a straight pipe section of at least 10×DN, while the outlet must maintain a straight pipe section of at least 5×DN.

3.2. Requirements for Grounding Points For the reliable operation of the instrument and enhanced measurement accuracy, it is crucial to avoid the influence of external parasitic potentials. The sensor must be properly grounded, achieving a grounding resistance of less than 10 ohms. (Note: If the metal pipeline already has good grounding, a dedicated grounding device is unnecessary.)
