Installation:

The metal rotor flowmeter is a sophisticated variable area flow measuring instrument, adeptly based on the precise measurement of the float position.

It is characterized by an all-metal structure and an ingenious modular design concept. Thanks to its compact size, minimal pressure loss, and impressive large range ratio (10:1),
combined with its straightforward installation and low-maintenance nature, this flowmeter is extensively utilized across a multitude of industries even in the most demanding and harsh environments.
It excels in flow and process control for applications demanding precision with small flow rates, low velocities, and various challenging medium conditions.

For optimal performance, the proper installation of the metal rotor flowmeter is crucial. Important installation guidelines include:

(1) The flowmeter needs to be installed in a vertical orientation with the measured fluid entering from the bottom and exiting at the top. Ensure five times the instrument's diameter in straight pipe length is maintained both at the entry and exit points. In newly laid pipelines, conduct a thorough flush before installation.

(2) Position a valve before the flowmeter and a flow control valve 5 to 10 times the instrument's diameter downstream. For smaller diameter instruments, install a filter upstream. If magnetic materials are present in the medium, incorporate a magnetic filter before the flowmeter.

(3) To allow for convenient maintenance and potential replacement, integrate a bypass pipeline during the flowmeter's installation.

(4) In cases where the medium is particularly dirty, regular cleaning of both pipes and float is recommended to maintain efficiency.

(5) The metal rotor flowmeter generally offers a measurement accuracy level of 1.5. If the application demands higher accuracy, consider alternative flowmeter options beyond the metal tube rotor type.
