The metal rotor flowmeter is a staple in both industry and laboratory settings. It boasts a simple structure, intuitive operation, minimal pressure loss, and is easy to maintain. Ideal for measuring small flow rates, it is suitable for pipes with a diameter of D.< 150 mm, and it can also measure the flow of corrosive media. When in use, the flowmeter must be installed in a vertical section of the pipe, with the fluid medium flowing from the bottom to the top through the rotor flowmeter.

The Importance of Proper Installation: For optimal functionality of your Metal Rotor Flowmeter, meticulous installation is crucial. Consider the following guidelines:

(1) Ensure vertical installation, allowing the fluid to flow upwards through the flowmeter. Maintain a straight pipe section, five times the diameter, at both the inlet and outlet. In new installations, thoroughly flush the pipeline prior to setting up the flowmeter.

(2) Essential Valve Placement: Position a valve upstream and a flow control valve 5 to 10 times the instrument diameter downstream. Incorporate a filter upstream for smaller diameters. Install a magnetic filter ahead of the flowmeter for media with magnetic content.

(3) Enhance Maintenance Ease: Integrate a bypass pipeline for effortless maintenance and flowmeter replacement.

(4) Cleanliness is Key: Regularly clean pipes and floats when dealing with dirty media to ensure smooth operation.

(5) Measurement Precision: Our Metal Rotor Flowmeter achieves an accuracy level of 1.5. For even finer precision, consider alternative options beyond metal tube rotor flowmeters.
