Installation:

The metal rotor flowmeter is a sophisticated variable area flow metering instrument designed to capture precise measurements based on the position of the float.

This innovative device boasts an all-metal structure complemented by a modular design concept. Its compact size, alongside a low pressure drop and an impressive range ratio of 10:1,
makes it exceptionally easy to install and maintain. It stands out as a versatile solution across numerous industries, excelling even in the most complex and challenging environments.
Whether it's controlling flow and processes for small flow volumes, low velocities, or handling demanding media conditions, this flowmeter is engineered for optimal performance.

Proper and precise installation of the metal rotor flowmeter is crucial to ensure its smooth and effective operation. Key installation considerations include:

(1) The flowmeter must be installed in a vertical position, ensuring that the fluid flows upward from bottom to top. A straight pipe section, five times the instrument's diameter, is mandatory at the inlet and outlet. Before installation, new pipelines should be thoroughly flushed to prevent any obstructions.

(2) An upstream valve is essential, and it should be paired with a flow control valve 5 to 10 times the instrument's diameter downstream. Additionally, for smaller instruments, it is advisable to equip the upstream with a filter. Should the medium contain magnetic materials, implementing a magnetic filter before the flowmeter is necessary.

(3) To ease maintenance and facilitate easy replacement, it's recommended to include a bypass pipeline during the installation process.

(4) In scenarios where the medium is particularly dirty, regular cleaning of the pipes and float is essential to maintain functionality.

(5) The metal rotor flowmeter typically achieves a measurement accuracy of level 1.5. For applications demanding higher precision, selecting a different type of flowmeter is advisable.
