When in use, the flowmeter must be installed in a vertical section of the pipe, with the fluid medium flowing from the bottom to the top through the rotor flowmeter.

Installation:

Introducing the metal rotor flowmeter, a sophisticated variable area flow measurement instrument, designed to accurately gauge the position of the float.

Boasting an all-metal structure and an innovative modular design, this device is compact, ensures minimal pressure loss, and offers an impressive range ratio of 10:1,
which makes it a preferred choice across various industries that operate under complex and demanding conditions, thanks to its easy installation and hassle-free maintenance.
This versatile instrument is adept at managing flow and process control for small flow rates and low velocities, even in challenging medium conditions.

To ensure optimal performance, proper installation of the metal rotor flowmeter is crucial. Here are the key installation considerations:

(1) The flowmeter should be installed in a vertical position, with the fluid moving from bottom to top. Ensure there are straight pipe sections five times the instrument diameter at both the entry and exit points. Newly installed pipelines should be thoroughly flushed prior to installing the flowmeter.

(2) Place a valve upstream, and a flow control valve 5 to 10 times the instrument diameter downstream. For smaller diameter instruments, a filter is necessary upstream. If the medium contains magnetic materials, a magnetic filter must be installed before the flowmeter.

(3) To simplify maintenance and replacement, integrate a bypass pipeline during the setup of the instrument.

(4) Should the medium be particularly dirty, ensure regular cleaning of the pipes and float.

(5) Generally, the metal rotor flowmeter offers a measurement accuracy level of 1.5. For applications demanding higher precision, it is advisable not to select a metal tube rotor flowmeter.
