The metal rotor flowmeter is a staple in both industrial and laboratory settings. Its simple design, user-friendly operation, minimal pressure loss, and easy maintenance make it perfect for measuring small flow rates in smaller diameter pipes (D).< 150 mm, and it can also measure the flow of corrosive media. When in use, the flowmeter must be installed in a vertical section of the pipe, with the fluid medium flowing from the bottom to the top through the rotor flowmeter.

Boasting an all-metal structure and a forward-thinking modular design concept, this flowmeter stands out with its compact size, minimal pressure loss, and impressive range ratio of 10:1.
Its seamless installation process and straightforward maintenance make it a preferred choice across a multitude of industries, especially in challenging and complex environments.
Perfectly suited for flow and process control involving small flow rates and low velocities, it masters various demanding medium conditions with ease.

Ensuring the flawless operation of the metal rotor flowmeter hinges on its correct installation. Here are key installation considerations to keep in mind:

(1) Vertically install the flowmeter, allowing fluid measurement to flow from bottom to top. Ensure a straight pipe section of five times the instrument's diameter at both inlet and outlet. Prior to installation, thoroughly flush newly installed pipelines.

(2) Position a valve upstream of the flowmeter and a flow control valve 5 to 10 times the instrument diameter downstream. For smaller diameter instruments, introduce a filter upstream. Should magnetic materials be present in the medium, install a magnetic filter before the flowmeter.

(3) For ease of maintenance and replacement, incorporate a bypass pipeline during instrument installation.

(4) If the medium is particularly dirty, regularly clean the pipes and float to maintain optimal performance.

(5) With measurement accuracy generally at a level of 1.5, the metal rotor flowmeter is highly reliable. However, for applications demanding higher accuracy, consider alternative solutions.
