The metal rotor flowmeter is renowned as one of the quintessential flowmeters in both industrial and laboratory settings. The rotor flowmeter excels in measuring small flow rates in pipes with a diameter of D.< 150 mm, and it can also measure the flow of corrosive media. When in use, the flowmeter must be installed in a vertical section of the pipe, with the fluid medium flowing from the bottom to the top through the rotor flowmeter.

Installation:

The metal rotor flowmeter is an innovative and precise variable area flow measuring device, engineered to excel by accurately measuring fluid flow via the float's position within the instrument.

It boasts a robust all-metal structure complemented by a sophisticated modular design that ensures performance and reliability. Its compact size, minimal pressure loss, extensive range ratio of 10:1,
and user-friendly installation and maintenance make it ideal for deployment across diverse industries, even in the most challenging and rigorous environments.
It is perfect for managing and controlling flow and processes involving small flow rates, low velocities, and various stringent medium conditions, ensuring peak efficiency and effectiveness.

Correct installation of the metal rotor flowmeter is crucial for its optimal operation. Key installation considerations include:

(1) Ensure vertical installation of the flowmeter, with fluid moving upward from bottom to top, maintaining a straight pipe section equal to five times the instrument's diameter at both inlet and outlet. For new pipelines, thoroughly flush them before installing the flowmeter.

(2) Place a valve upstream of the flowmeter, with a flow control valve positioned 5 to 10 times the instrument diameter downstream. For smaller instruments, install a filter upstream. If the medium contains magnetic materials, a magnetic filter is essential before the flowmeter.

(3) To streamline maintenance and ease replacement, connect a bypass pipeline when installing the instrument, ensuring uninterrupted operations.

(4) If the measured medium is particularly contaminated, promptly clean the pipes and float to maintain performance and accuracy.

(5) The metal rotor flowmeter typically offers a measurement accuracy level of 1.5. For applications demanding higher precision, consider alternatives to the metal tube rotor flowmeter.
