The installation of the Anti-Vibration Electromagnetic Flowmeter with Explosion Proof Design and IP67 from Shandong Zhongziyi Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. varies depending on the site pipeline conditions. Flowmeters without a ball valve should be installed on a non-pressurized pipeline, making it ideal for non-pressurized installations.
To install, create a 50mm diameter hole in the pipeline and prepare to weld a connecting pipe to this opening.
For applications requiring continuous flow during loading and unloading or where media overflow is unacceptable, a ball valve must be incorporated. In this case, opt for an insertion-type electromagnetic flowmeter with a ball valve structure.

    2. The optimal installation is indoors. For outdoor installations, protect the device from rain, flooding, and direct sunlight with moisture-proof and sun-proof measures.
    3. Avoid environments containing corrosive gases. If necessary, implement adequate ventilation measures.
    4. Ensure ample installation space around the flowmeter for ease of maintenance and upkeep.
    5. Avoid magnetic fields and strong vibration sources. If the pipeline experiences significant vibration, support both sides of the flowmeter to stabilize it.

2.1. Requirements for Straight Sections To mitigate vortices and flow field distortion, ensure appropriate lengths for the upstream and downstream straight pipe sections. Otherwise, measurement accuracy will be compromised. Installing a straightener and avoiding proximity to control valves and partially open valves is advisable.

2.2. Requirements for Process Pipes The flowmeter requires specific upstream and downstream process pipe conditions at the installation point to ensure measurement accuracy: a. The inner diameters of upstream and downstream process pipes must match the sensor's diameter, meeting the condition: 0.98DN ≤ D ≤ 1.05DN. b. The process pipe and sensor must be concentric, with an axial deviation of no more than 0.05DN.

2.3. Requirements for Bypass Pipes To ensure seamless maintenance and optimal performance of the flowmeter, installing a bypass pipe is highly recommended. This is particularly crucial for operations involving heavily contaminated fluids or situations where the flowmeter needs to be cleaned without halting the fluid flow. a. Facilitates seamless maintenance of the flowmeter. b. Mandatory installation for heavily contaminated fluids. c. Allows cleaning of the flowmeter without stopping fluid flow.

3. Installation Requirements for Insertion-Type Electromagnetic Flowmeters

3.1. Requirements for Straight Pipe Sections Inlet and outlet straight pipe sections are critical for optimal performance. The inlet should be no less than 10×DN, and the outlet should be no less than 5×DN.

3.2. Requirements for Grounding Points To ensure reliable operation and enhanced measurement accuracy, proper grounding is essential. The sensor should be grounded with a resistance of less than 10 ohms to avoid external parasitic potentials. (If the metal pipeline is already well-grounded, a dedicated grounding device is not necessary.)

3.3. Requirements for Installation Position Follow the installation position as illustrated in the diagram.
