The Metal Rotor Flowmeter is a sophisticated variable area flow measuring instrument, ingeniously engineered to measure flow based on the position of the float.

Showcasing an impeccably robust all-metal structure and a state-of-the-art modular design concept, this flowmeter stands out with its compact size, minimal pressure loss, and impressive large range ratio of 10:1.
Thanks to its straightforward installation and hassle-free maintenance, it has secured its place in a multitude of industries, thriving even in the most complex and harsh environments.
This marvel of engineering is ideal for flow and process control in scenarios demanding precision with small flow rates, low velocities, and various challenging medium conditions.

Proper and meticulous installation of the Metal Rotor Flowmeter is crucial for ensuring its optimal performance. Key considerations for installation include:

(1) The flowmeter must be installed in a vertical position, ensuring that the fluid being measured flows seamlessly from bottom to top. It's imperative to maintain a straight pipe section that is five times the diameter of the instrument at both the inlet and outlet. For pipelines that are newly installed, ensure a thorough flush of the pipeline prior to the installation of the flowmeter.

(2) An appropriate valve should be positioned upstream of the flowmeter, with a flow control valve strategically installed 5 to 10 times the instrument diameter downstream. For instruments with smaller diameters, an upstream filter is recommended. If the medium measured contains magnetic materials, it is advisable to place a magnetic filter before the flowmeter.

(3) To simplify maintenance and facilitate replacement of the flowmeter, ensure a bypass pipeline is integrated during the instrument's installation.

(4) In cases where the measured medium is particularly dirty, regular cleaning of the pipes and float is essential to maintain functionality.

(5) The accuracy of the Metal Rotor Flowmeter typically achieves a level of 1.5. For applications requiring superior measurement precision, it may be prudent to consider alternatives to the metal tube rotor flowmeter.
