When in use, the flowmeter must be installed in a vertical section of the pipe, with the fluid medium flowing from the bottom to the top through the rotor flowmeter.

Installation:

The robust and reliable metal rotor flowmeter is an advanced variable area flow measuring instrument, ingeniously crafted to determine fluid flow by assessing the float position.

Distinguished by its all-metal structure and pioneering modular design concept, this flowmeter is characterized by its compact size, minimal pressure loss, expansive range ratio of 10:1,
and the remarkable convenience it offers in installation and maintenance. These attributes make it an indispensable tool across various industries, adeptly performing even in challenging and rigorous environments.
It excels in the precise flow and process control of small flow rates, low velocities, and a variety of demanding medium conditions.

Ensuring the correct installation of the metal rotor flowmeter is crucial for achieving optimal operational performance. Important installation considerations include:

(1) The flowmeter must be positioned vertically, with the fluid to be measured entering from the bottom and exiting at the top. A straight pipe section measuring five times the instrument's diameter should be present at both the inlet and outlet. For newly installed pipelines, it is imperative to conduct a thorough flushing prior to the installation of the flowmeter.

(2) Install a valve upstream of the flowmeter and a flow control valve 5 to 10 times the instrument's diameter downstream. For instruments with smaller diameters, incorporate a filter upstream. If the medium being measured contains magnetic particles, it is essential to install a magnetic filter before the flowmeter.

(3) To enable easy maintenance and replacement, a bypass pipeline should be integrated during the instrument's installation.

(4) For media with significant impurities, prompt cleaning of the pipes and float is necessary to maintain efficiency.

(5) The standard measurement accuracy of the metal rotor flowmeter is typically at 1.5. For applications demanding higher precision, selecting a metal tube rotor flowmeter is not recommended.
