Installation:

The metal rotor flowmeter is a sophisticated variable area flow measuring instrument, engineered to deliver precision based on the meticulous assessment of the float's position.

Boasting an all-metal construction and an innovative modular design concept, this flowmeter stands out due to its compact size, minimal pressure loss, and impressive range ratio of 10:1.
Its user-friendly installation and maintenance make it a sought-after choice across various industries, especially in environments characterized by complexity and harshness.
It excels in managing flow and process control for applications involving small flow rates, low velocities, and challenging medium conditions.

Proper installation of the metal rotor flowmeter is crucial to ensure flawless operation. Key installation considerations include:

(1) Ensure vertical installation of the flowmeter, with the fluid traveling from bottom to top. A straight pipe section, five times the instrument's diameter, should be maintained at both the inlet and outlet. For new pipelines, a thorough flush is recommended before installing the flowmeter.

(2) Position a valve upstream of the flowmeter, and a flow control valve 5 to 10 times the instrument diameter downstream. For small diameter instruments, incorporate a filter upstream. If magnetic materials are present in the medium, a magnetic filter prior to the flowmeter is essential.

(3) To simplify maintenance and facilitate easy replacement, integrate a bypass pipeline during the instrument's installation.

(4) In cases where the measured medium is notably unclean, timely cleaning of the pipes and float is necessary.

(5) The metal rotor flowmeter generally offers a measurement accuracy level of 1.5. For applications demanding higher precision, selecting a metal tube rotor flowmeter may not be the optimal choice.
