Piping condition
The installation of the High Accuracy Liquid Vortex Flowmeter with Anti Vibration Features necessitates specific straight pipe sections both before and after the flowmeter. The requirements are as follows (D denotes the pipe diameter):

The sensor should be mounted on a horizontal, vertical, or inclined pipe (with liquid flowing bottom to top), matching the sensor's diameter. Ensure a straight pipe section upstream (15-20D) and downstream (5-10D) of the sensor to meet the required lengths.

The pipe adjacent to the liquid sensor must be filled with the liquid under measurement.
3.
Avoid installing the sensor on pipes subjected to intense mechanical vibrations.
4.
The inner diameter of the straight pipe should closely match the sensor diameter. If not identical, use a slightly larger pipe with an error margin of ≤3% and no more than 5mm. Avoid areas with strong electromagnetic interference, cramped spaces, or inconvenient maintenance access..

Horizontal pipeline installation is the most common for flow sensors. For gas with minor liquid content, place the sensor at a higher point. For liquid with minor gas content, place it at a lower point in the pipeline.
6.
Sensor installation in vertical pipelines. For gas flow, the sensor can be vertically installed without flow direction restriction. If the gas has minor liquid content, the flow should ascend. For liquid flow, ensure ascending flow to avoid adding weight to the probe.
7.
Side mounting of sensors on horizontal pipelines. Suitable for all fluid types, especially superheated steam, saturated steam, and low-temperature liquids. Side mounting minimizes temperature effects on the amplifier and is preferred if feasible.
8.
Inverted sensor installation on horizontal pipelines is generally discouraged. It's unsuitable for general gases or superheated steam but can measure saturated steam and high-temperature liquids or where frequent pipeline cleaning is necessary.
9.
When installing sensors on insulated pipelines for high-temperature steam, ensure the insulation layer does not exceed one-third of the bracket height.
10.
Selecting pressure and temperature measurement points. According to measurement needs, place the pressure measurement point 3-5D downstream and the temperature measurement point 6-8D downstream of the sensor.
