The metal rotor flowmeter is among the industry's most favored, known for its straightforward structure, intuitive use, minimal pressure drop, and ease of maintenance. This rotor flowmeter is perfectly suited for accurately measuring small flow rates in pipes with a diameter of D.< 150 mm, and it can also measure the flow of corrosive media. When in use, the flowmeter must be installed in a vertical section of the pipe, with the fluid medium flowing from the bottom to the top through the rotor flowmeter.

Whether it's controlling small flow rates, managing low velocities, or handling challenging medium conditions, this flowmeter excels in precision and control across diverse applications.

Installing the metal rotor flowmeter correctly is critical to ensure optimal performance and reliability. Key considerations for installation include:

(1) Ensure vertical installation of the flowmeter, facilitating the fluid's journey from bottom to top. Guarantee a straight pipe length, five times the instrument diameter, both at the inlet and outlet. For newly installed pipelines, a comprehensive flush is mandatory prior to setting up the flowmeter.

(2) Position a valve upstream for controlled flow, and install a flow control valve 5 to 10 times the instrument diameter downstream. For instruments of smaller diameters, an upstream filter is crucial. If magnetic materials reside in the measured medium, a magnetic filter is essential before the flowmeter.

(3) To streamline maintenance or replacement processes, integrating a bypass pipeline during the instrument's setup is highly recommended.

(4) Should the medium be notably dirty, regular cleaning of pipes and float is necessary to maintain the integrity and accuracy of measurements.

(5) With a standard measurement accuracy of 1.5, the metal rotor flowmeter is dependable. However, for applications demanding higher precision, alternative flowmeter options should be considered.
