When in use, the flowmeter must be installed in a vertical section of the pipe, with the fluid medium flowing from the bottom to the top through the rotor flowmeter.

Installation:

The metal rotor flowmeter, a sophisticated variable area flow measuring device, precisely measures through the innovative observation of float positioning.

Boasting an all-metal, robust structure with a state-of-the-art modular design, this flowmeter is compact yet powerful. Its small size ensures low pressure loss, and its impressive ratio of 10:1 allows for a wide range of applications.
Renowned for its straightforward installation and easy maintenance, this flowmeter excels across diverse industries, even in the most challenging and demanding environments.
Ideal for controlling flow and processes at small-scale rates and low velocities, this flowmeter is perfect for handling the most exacting medium conditions.

Ensuring proper installation of the metal rotor flowmeter is crucial for optimal performance. Key installation considerations include:

(1) Install the flowmeter vertically, directing the measured fluid to flow upwards from bottom to top. Maintain a straight pipe section measuring five times the instrument's diameter at both the inlet and outlet. For new pipelines, ensure a thorough flush before installation.

(2) Position a valve upstream of the flowmeter and a flow control valve 5 to 10 times the instrument's diameter downstream. For smaller instruments, it is essential to include a filter upstream. If magnetic materials are present in the medium, incorporate a magnetic filter before the flowmeter.

(3) To streamline maintenance and allow for easy replacement, integrate a bypass pipeline during the installation of the instrument.

(4) In cases where the measured medium is particularly dirty, it is important to regularly clean both the pipes and the float to ensure accuracy and longevity.

(5) With a general measurement accuracy level of 1.5, the metal rotor flowmeter provides reliable readings. However, if your application demands higher precision, consider alternatives beyond the metal tube rotor flowmeter.
