The metal rotor flowmeter is renowned in both industry and laboratories for its simplicity, user-friendly operation, minimal pressure loss, and easy maintenance. It is the ideal choice for measuring small flow rates in pipes of diameter D, providing precision and reliability.< 150 mm, and it can also measure the flow of corrosive media. When in use, the flowmeter must be installed in a vertical section of the pipe, with the fluid medium flowing from the bottom to the top through the rotor flowmeter.

Installation:

The metal rotor flowmeter, an advanced variable area flow measuring device, operates by detecting the position of a float within the fluid. Its precision engineering ensures unparalleled measurement accuracy.

Boasting an all-metal structure and an innovative modular design, this flowmeter shines with its compact size and minimal pressure loss. Its impressive range ratio of 10:1 enhances its versatility across applications.
Thanks to its user-friendly installation and low-maintenance features, this flowmeter is the preferred choice for diverse industries, tackling the most challenging and rugged environments with ease.
Designed for flow and process control, it excels in managing small flow rates, slower velocities, and various demanding media conditions, ensuring precision in complex situations.

Correct installation of the metal rotor flowmeter is critical to its optimal performance. Key installation considerations include:

(1) Install the flowmeter in a vertical position to ensure the fluid flows upwards through it. Ensure straight piping, measuring five times the instrument's diameter, both at the inlet and outlet. For new pipelines, thoroughly flush the system before the flowmeter is mounted.

(2) Position a valve upstream, and install a flow control valve 5 to 10 times the diameter downstream. For smaller instruments, introduce a filter upstream. If the fluid contains magnetic materials, integrate a magnetic filter before the flowmeter.

(3) To simplify maintenance and allow for quick replacements, include a bypass pipeline when setting up the instrument.

(4) For dirty media, ensure pipes and floats are regularly cleaned to maintain efficiency and accuracy.

(5) Typically, metal rotor flowmeters offer a measurement accuracy level of 1.5. For applications demanding higher precision, consider alternatives to metal tube rotor flowmeters.
