PACKING & SHIPPING
Our commitment is to deliver your ordered Wireless Transmission Flowmeter with High Reliability and Explosion Proof Features at the earliest possible date, precisely as per your requirements. We ensure timely and efficient service, giving you peace of mind and unmatched reliability. The installation of the electromagnetic flowmeter varies depending on the site pipeline conditions. For flowmeters without a ball valve, ensure they are installed on a non-pressurized pipeline. This allows the selection of flowmeters without the need for a ball valve, providing a simpler and more efficient setup.
Create a hole with a diameter of 50 mm in the pipeline. Prepare to weld a connecting pipe to this opening, ensuring a secure and precise installation.
In scenarios where continuous flow is required during loading and unloading, or where media overflow is not permitted, a ball valve is essential. This necessitates the selection of an insertion-type electromagnetic flowmeter equipped with a ball valve structure for reliable and safe operation.

For optimal performance and accuracy of the electromagnetic flowmeter, ensure that the upstream straight pipe section is 5D and the downstream section is 3D. This arrangement is crucial for maintaining measurement accuracy.
The measurement principle of the electromagnetic flowmeter is independent of the flow's characteristics, ensuring consistent and reliable readings under various conditions.
If there is turbulence and vortices generated in non-measurement areas of the pipeline (such as elbows, tangential throttling, or partially open shut-off valves upstream), it will not affect measurement accuracy.
However, steady-state vortices within the measurement area can impact the stability and accuracy of the flowmeter's readings. Addressing these issues is crucial for maintaining precision.
In such cases, implement measures to stabilize flow distribution:
1.2. Pipeline-type Electromagnetic Flowmeter
2.1. Requirements for Straight Sections To mitigate the effects of vortices and flow field distortion, adhere to specific length requirements for the straight pipe sections upstream and downstream of the flowmeter. Failure to do so may affect measurement accuracy. Installing a flow straightener can help, and avoid installing the flowmeter close to control valves and partially open valves.
2.2. Requirements for the Process Pipes The flowmeter imposes specific requirements on the upstream and downstream process pipes at the installation point to ensure measurement accuracy: a. The inner diameter of the upstream and downstream process pipes should match that of the sensor and meet the condition: 0.98DN ≤ D ≤ 1.05DN (where DN is the inner diameter of the sensor, and D is the inner diameter of the process pipe). b. The process pipe and sensor must be concentric with an axial deviation not exceeding 0.05DN.
2.3. Requirements for Bypass Pipes To ensure seamless maintenance and optimal performance of the flowmeter, it is highly recommended to install a bypass pipe. This becomes crucial for systems handling heavily contaminated fluids and scenarios where the flowmeter needs to be cleaned without interrupting the fluid flow. a. Ensure ease of maintenance for the flowmeter. b. Mandatory installation for heavily contaminated fluids. c. Enables cleaning of the flowmeter without halting fluid flow.
3. Installation Requirements for Insertion-Type Electromagnetic Flowmeters
3.1. Requirements for Straight Pipe Sections Inlet and outlet straight pipe sections are critical for accurate measurements: Inlet should be ≥ 10×DN; Outlet should be ≥ 5×DN.
3.2. Requirements for Grounding Points For reliable instrument performance and enhanced measurement accuracy, it's essential to avoid disturbances from external parasitic potentials. Ensure the sensor is properly grounded with a grounding resistance of less than 10 ohms. (If the metal pipeline is well-grounded, an additional grounding device is not required.)
3.3. Requirements for Installation Position Refer to the diagram for the precise installation position to ensure optimal performance.
