PACKING & SHIPPING
We are committed to promptly delivering your ordered product in accordance with your specific requirements, guaranteeing timely and efficient service. Our dedication ensures that you receive your Explosion Proof Electromagnetic Flowmeter with ANSI Certification and IP67 rating when you need it most, with all the care and precision you expect from Shandong Zhongziyi Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd.The installation of the Explosion Proof Electromagnetic Flowmeter with ANSI Certification and IP67 from Shandong Zhongziyi Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. is dictated by the specific pipeline conditions on site. Flowmeters lacking a ball valve must be installed on non-pressurized pipelines. This non-pressurized installation permits the use of flowmeters without a ball valve.
Create a hole with a diameter of 50mm in the pipeline, and prepare to weld a connecting pipe to the opening.
In scenarios necessitating continuous flow during loading and unloading or where media overflow is impermissible, a ball valve must be integrated. This necessitates selecting an insertion-type electromagnetic flowmeter with a ball valve structure.
Create a hole with a diameter of 50mm in the pipeline, and prepare to weld a connecting pipe to the opening.

The straight pipe segment requirements are 5D upstream and 3D downstream. These specifications ensure optimal operation of the electromagnetic flowmeter and maintain measurement accuracy.
The measurement principle of the electromagnetic flowmeter is independent of flow characteristics.
Even if turbulence and vortices are generated in the non-measurement sections of the pipeline (such as at elbows, tangential throttling points, or partially open shut-off valves upstream), they do not affect measurement accuracy.
However, steady-state vortices within the measurement area can compromise measurement stability and accuracy.
In such cases, implement measures to stabilize flow distribution:
1.2. Pipeline-Type Electromagnetic Flowmeter
2.1. Straight Section Requirements To counteract the effects of vortices and flow field distortion, specific lengths for the upstream and downstream straight pipe sections are mandatory. Failure to comply may affect measurement accuracy. A straightener can be installed, and installation close to control valves and partially open valves should be avoided.
2.2. Process Pipe Requirements The flowmeter demands specific conditions for the upstream and downstream process pipes at the installation point to maintain accuracy. a. The inner diameter of the upstream and downstream pipes should match the sensor's inner diameter, satisfying 0.98DN ≤ D ≤ 1.05DN (where DN is the sensor's inner diameter, and D is the process pipe's inner diameter). b. The process pipe and the sensor must be concentric, with an axial deviation not exceeding 0.05DN.
2.3. Requirements for bypass pipes To ensure seamless maintenance and optimal operation of the flowmeter, it is highly recommended to install a bypass pipe. This becomes imperative for environments dealing with heavily contaminated fluids or situations where you need the flexibility to clean the flowmeter without halting fluid flow. a. Facilitates easy maintenance of the flowmeter. b. Essential for systems with heavily contaminated fluids. c. Ensures uninterrupted fluid flow even during flowmeter cleaning.
3. Installation requirements for insertion-type electromagnetic flowmeters Proper installation is crucial for the optimal performance of insertion-type electromagnetic flowmeters.
3.1. Requirements for straight pipe sections To guarantee accurate readings and optimal flow conditions, the straight pipe sections must adhere to the following guidelines: Inlet should be ≥ 10×DN; Outlet should be ≥ 5×DN.
3.2. Requirements for grounding points To ensure the instrument operates reliably and delivers precise measurements, it should remain unaffected by external parasitic potentials. The sensor must be well-grounded, with a grounding resistance of less than 10 ohms. (Note: If the metal pipeline is already well-grounded, the installation of a dedicated grounding device is not necessary.)
3.3. Requirements for installation position Please refer to the provided diagram for detailed requirements regarding the installation position.
