The metal rotor flowmeter is the industrial and laboratory standard, offering a blend of simplicity and effectiveness. Its straightforward design, intuitive handling, low pressure drop, and easy maintenance make it perfect for measuring small flow rates in pipelines with a diameter of D < 150 mm, and it can also measure the flow of corrosive media. When in use, the flowmeter must be installed in a vertical section of the pipe, with the fluid medium flowing from the bottom to the top through the rotor flowmeter.

Boasting an all-metal framework and a pioneering modular design, this flowmeter excels in compactness, ensuring minimal pressure loss, and offers a remarkable range ratio of 10:1.
Its design prioritizes ease of installation and maintenance, making it an indispensable tool across a myriad of industries, even in the most rigorous and challenging environments.
This flowmeter is the ideal choice for managing and controlling flow processes involving small flow rates, low velocities, and a variety of demanding medium conditions.

For optimal performance, the precise installation of the metal rotor flowmeter is crucial. Key installation considerations include:

(1) The flowmeter should be installed vertically, ensuring the fluid navigates from bottom to top. It is vital to maintain a straight pipe section measuring five times the instrument's diameter at both the inlet and outlet. Prior to installation, newly laid pipelines should be thoroughly flushed.

(2) An upstream valve is essential, complemented by a flow control valve positioned 5 to 10 times the instrument diameter downstream. For instruments with smaller diameters, an upstream filter is recommended. Should the medium contain magnetic materials, a magnetic filter must precede the flowmeter.

(3) Incorporating a bypass pipeline during installation will streamline maintenance and replacement procedures for the flowmeter.

(4) For media prone to dirtiness, regular cleaning of pipes and float is necessary to maintain optimal function.

(5) The flowmeter typically delivers a measurement accuracy level of 1.5. For applications requiring heightened accuracy, alternative measurement solutions should be considered.
