The metal rotor flowmeter is among the most popular in industrial and laboratory environments. Its simple yet effective structure allows for intuitive operation. With low pressure loss and easy maintenance, it is ideal for measuring small flow rates in pipes with a diameter of D.< 150 mm, and it can also measure the flow of corrosive media. When in use, the flowmeter must be installed in a vertical section of the pipe, with the fluid medium flowing from the bottom to the top through the rotor flowmeter.

This state-of-the-art device showcases an all-metal structure coupled with a versatile modular design. Its compact dimensions, minimal pressure drop, and expansive range ratio of 10:1 make it an unparalleled choice.
With its seamless installation and low-maintenance demands, this flowmeter excels across a multitude of industries, even in the most challenging and rugged environments.
Our flowmeter governs the flow and process control of small flow volumes, low-speed conditions, and various exacting medium environments with finesse.

To ensure optimal functionality, it is crucial to follow precise guidelines when installing the metal rotor flowmeter. Key installation considerations include:

(1) The flowmeter must be installed in a vertical position with fluid entering from the bottom and exiting at the top. Ensure there is a straight pipe section of at least five times the instrument's diameter at both the inlet and outlet. New pipelines should be thoroughly cleaned pre-installation for optimal performance.

(2) Install a valve upstream and a flow control valve 5 to 10 times the instrument's diameter downstream. For smaller diameters, place a filter upstream. Incorporate a magnetic filter before the flowmeter if the fluid contains magnetic substances.

(3) For easy maintenance and flowmeter replacement, incorporate a bypass pipeline during installation.

(4) Should the medium be particularly contaminated, regular cleaning of the pipes and float is essential.

(5) The metal rotor flowmeter generally offers a measurement accuracy level of 1.5. For applications demanding precision beyond this, alternative flowmeters should be considered.
